Empowering Black Women in Technology with “Trailblazers in Tech”
At Zubachee, our mission is to empower Black women in technology, programming, and entrepreneurship. To further this goal, we proudly highlight “Trailblazers in Tech”, an inspiring initiative supported by Spribe, a leader in blockchain innovation and digital platforms. This collaboration reflects our shared vision of creating opportunities and amplifying the voices of Black women in the tech industry.
About “Trailblazers in Tech”
“Trailblazers in Tech” is a transformative project that celebrates the achievements of 51 Black women in the UK who have made significant contributions to the technology sector. By sharing their journeys, the initiative aims to address underrepresentation in tech while inspiring the next generation of leaders and innovators.
Objectives
Education: Distribute free copies of the “Trailblazers in Tech” book to schools across the UK and Ireland to engage and educate young minds about careers in technology.
Representation: Showcase successful Black women in technology to provide visible role models for young professionals and students.
Empowerment: Inspire confidence and ambition through real stories of overcoming challenges and achieving excellence.

Milestones of “Trailblazers in Tech”
Since its inception, “Trailblazers in Tech” has achieved remarkable milestones, amplifying its impact with each new volume:
Volume 1 (2023)
Featured 51 inspiring stories and distributed 300 free copies to schools across the UK.
Volume 2 (2024)
Introduced 51 more trailblazing women, distributed 500 copies, and launched a festival during Black History Month to connect talent with sponsors.
Volume 3 (2025)
Expanded its reach with 1,000 copies distributed to schools and libraries while spotlighting new voices in tech innovation.
The Trailblazers Festival
The annual Trailblazers Festival, sponsored by Spribe, takes place during Black History Month and offers a platform for growth, learning, and collaboration. The event includes:
- Panel Discussions: Featuring industry leaders sharing insights on diversity, leadership, and innovation.
- Skill-Building Workshops: Hands-on sessions to develop skills in technology, entrepreneurship, and career advancement.
- Networking Opportunities: Connecting participants with mentors, sponsors, and industry professionals to foster meaningful collaborations.
The festival serves as a vibrant hub for empowering talent and showcasing the contributions of Black women in technology.
